Rhys is responsible for all aspects of the theatre and its work but most importantly, he plans the programme of cultural events taking place in the theatre, gallery and studio. If you would like to present your work at Hertford Theatre, have a chat with him!
Rhys has worked at Hertford Theatre since 2010 and before that was a freelance director of theatre productions and an acting teacher throughout the UK and abroad. He says he has been very lucky to work with some very talented people in some amazing places around the world.

Sharon is a Consultant and Community Engagement practitioner helping Hertford Theatre to develop a brand new learning programme.
She'll be talking to schools, families and groups across East Herts, so please do get in touch if you have any ideas you'd like to discuss.
Sharon loves delivering multidisciplinary community projects with people of all ages and backgrounds.
She has worked as the Head of Learning and Participation at Frantic Assembly and the Old Vic and also run the young people’s programme at the Young Vic.
Sharon also delivers projects as a writer and facilitating artist and has worked with organisations such as The Kiln, Bush Theatre, Almeida, and London Symphony Orchestra.
As Associate Artist, Stuart brings his knowledge and experience of working with children, young people and their families to a new project, funded by the Royal Opera House Bridge, which sees the Theatre reaching out and consulting with all the schools in East Hertfordshire.
Stuart also currently works with Herts Inclusive Theatre and Herts Young Homeless. Previously, he was Associate Director at Cardboard Citizens and he also lectured at the University of Hertfordshire in Screen Acting. Stuart first came to the region in 2005, when as the Creative Director, he founded Theatre Is.
