A biographical drama in which the American actress Gloria Grahame falls in love with a man from Liverpool.
On November 11, 2017, Elvis Costello released an original song entitled "You Shouldn't Look At Me That Way", composed specifically for the film.
It is based on the memoir of the same name by Peter Turner.
