The Snowsmith
10th December until 1st January
at The Drill Hall, Ware
It's winter and everyone in Thawmor is grumpy and miserable!
Eira, the enthusiastic experimental meteorologist has become obsessed with an intriguing idea. Legends tell of a soft white icy substance that falls from the sky, could this be the answer to unite her town in the bitter months?
The Snowsmith tells the story of Eira as she journeys through a towering library, up a goat laden mountain and onto a rusty steamboat voyage across an icy ocean in search of the most perfect snow.
Half a String are back in Ware with their signature style of breathtaking puppetry, striking set, atmospheric folk music, and captivating storytelling.
Get lost in a world that will have the whole family gasping, laughing and enjoying a story together this winter.
