10th December until 1st January
at The Drill Hall, Ware
It's winter and everyone in Thawmor is grumpy and miserable!
Eira, the enthusiastic experimental meteorologist has become obsessed with an intriguing idea. Legends tell of a soft white icy substance that falls from the sky, could this be the answer to unite her town in the bitter months?
The Snowsmith tells the story of Eira as she journeys through a towering library, up a goat laden mountain and onto a rusty steamboat voyage across an icy ocean in search of the most perfect snow.
Half a String are back in Ware with their signature style of breathtaking puppetry, striking set, atmospheric folk music, and captivating storytelling.
Get lost in a world that will have the whole family gasping, laughing and enjoying a story together this winter.
We recommend that although most ages will enjoy aspects of the show, the storyline is most suited to ages 4+. This is simply a guideline.
Half A String pride themselves on creating shows that contain something for all ages, using visual stories aswell as storytelling through music and dialogue.
Babes in Arms (babies under 18 months), children under 4 years old and teenagers are most welcome.
£16, which includes a Meet and Greet photo opportunity at the end of the show.
The show is 1 hour long with no interval.
This production takes place at The Drill Hall, Ware, SG12 9HP. Find directions on Google Maps
We recommend Amwell End West carpark or Kibes Lane carpark, both no further than a 10 minute walk to The Drill Hall.
