Relaxed: The Snowsmith
Relaxed: The Snowsmith

Relaxed: The Snowsmith

Wednesday 28 December, 11am and 2pm

Our relaxed performances are for anyone who may benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment, but especially designed for families who have a member with SEN or Autism.
Parents and carers with very young children and babies also find relaxed performances a great way to introduce watching a live show to their families.

The script and story remain untouched but we will remove special effects including pyrotechnics and turn the sound of the music down.

The lights inside the auditorium will be left on slightly and we also reduce our capacity so audiences have more space in our seating areas.

Audiences do not need to remain quiet or still or even watch the whole show,. They can leave to take a break in our cafe space whenever they want.

Age Suitability

We recommend that although most ages will enjoy aspects of the show, the storyline is most suited to ages 4+. This is simply a guideline.
Half A String pride themselves on creating shows that contain something for all ages, using visual stories aswell as storytelling through music and dialogue.
Babes in Arms (babies under 18 months), children under 4 years old and teenagers are most welcome.
